My aim is to build the most complete digital archive of the Nyírő family: genealogy, historical documents, photographs, coats of arms and source references. Every statement in this archive is clearly labelled — confirmed fact, ongoing research, or open question. A hypothesis is never presented as a fact.

The documented line
Four confirmed generations
The modern family line is documented from Nyírő Marcell Csaba through his father and grandfather to his great-grandfather, Dr. Nyirő Gyula — psychiatrist and namesake of the Nyírő Gyula Hospital in Budapest. Earlier generations wrote the name as “Nyirő”; the current generation uses “Nyírő”.
